Community Housing Development Organization

Eligible housing activities are development of single-family rental units, multi-family rental units, first-time buyers, acquisition/rehab of vacant or dilapidated units and/or conversion of non-residence buildings for housing purposes.

* O’Neill has 6 single family rental units

* Cairo has 3 single family rental units

* Loup City and Central City each have 6 single family rental units

* Greeley and O’Neill have 3-bedroom rental duplexes

* Ainsworth has a rental triplex with a 3-bedroom, a 2-bedroom, and a studio apartment

* Alda has an 8-plex with four 3-bedroom and four 2-bedroom rental units

Households must be at or below 80% median county income. Applicants in the counties of Boyd, Brown, Holt, Keya Paha and Rock will receive down payment assistance to purchase an existing home through the Purchase/Rehab/Resale program.
