Central Nebraska Community Services, Inc.

We are a community action agency that was created in 1965 as a result of President Johnsons Economic Opportunity Act. CNCS specializes in bringing resources totaling more than $11.6 million into the 22,985 square miles of our service area. CNCS addresses the needs of 15,000 unduplicated persons in North Central Nebraska through our programs and services.

Mission Statement

Partnering with individuals and families to end poverty through Community -based solutions.

 

Since its origin in 1965, Central Nebraska Community Services, Inc. has addressed the needs of thousands of persons through its programs and services. As a non-profit, health and human service corporation, CNCS specializes in bringing resources into its 21 County service area in North Central Nebraska. These resources include health care, housing rehabilitation and weatherization, nutrition assistance, education, and case management. Persons from infancy to the elderly benefit from these services.
